If you are coming from Underberg after visiting the Sani Pass, you only have a 2 hour drive to reach the valley of Giant's Castle Valley. Once there, you can do one of the many walks which are proposed: there is something for all ages and all levels.
Consulting : if you leave early enough, you don't have to pack a picnic. We only had snacks to be lighter and ate on the terrace at Giant's Castle Resort on the way back. On the other hand, don't forget to take water and a windbreaker for the summit because it can be windy at the top of the Drakensbergs.
